5 Reasons To Join The CTF Community
We’re Better Together
Web 3 is a new technology gradually taking over the internet, and Craft The Future is here to guide you through the abyss. CTF started in late 2021, with just myself and Carl. We are grateful for the consistent progress and the numerous connections we’ve made during 2022. As a community-oriented digital marketing agency, think, laugh, and learn are the values that we support in our online society.
If that isn’t enough, I will tell you five more reasons to join the CTF community.
Reason 1: Community
Community development is significant to us, and we created channels to spur a flowing ecosystem. The Crafty Social is a space to share and gain feedback on your Web 3 projects or to discuss Web 3 topics in general. TCS is a light-hearted and open-minded environment. AMA (Ask Me Anything) Calls are another way we develop community, and we give members a chance to ask us anything about CTF. Lastly, our All Hands Meeting is a weekly tactical meeting about current and previous goals and tasks. Community members can join the All Hands Meeting to listen in on what we’re doing, make suggestions and ask questions.
Reason 2: Education
As mentioned above, Web 3 is gradually taking over the internet, and we want to help Black and Brown people from lower socioeconomic neighborhoods across the globe navigate this new technology. We recognize that they often are left behind when new developments arise. We teach newcomers how not to get wrecked in Web 3 by advising them to keep their seed phrase private, how to avoid scammers, and much more.
Reason 3: Become A Contributor
Currently, there are three ways to contribute to the CTF community. The first is by becoming a Human Experience Coordinator who is an individual that makes sure our social media channels are up to date with the latest content on Medium, Twitter, and LinkedIn. A Human Experience Coordinator is also present to facilitate The Crafty Social and curate events. Client Specialist is another role you can join and is an upskilling opportunity that adds value to client projects. A Client Specialist will also attend weekly check-in meetings, maintain communication with other team members, and must sign an NDA to protect the client’s ideas. Lastly, you can become a Global Futurenaut who is an expert in their field related to Web 3. In this role, you will be responsible for leading AMA Calls and discussions on Discord.
Reason 4: Storytelling
We’re kids who love to tell stories and believe storytelling builds community. Our journey is a story in itself and we love sharing what we’re learning, the connections we’ve made, and the places we’ve been. Most importantly we want to inspire like-minded people to move forward in their journey.
Reason 5: Building Equity
Every member on each level has the opportunity to bring equity into the ecosystem. Network, upskill, and research and development are the pillars that support the CTF Community. Each role and meeting revolves around these pillars.
